Meet Sensational Singer "Mykebou"

Michael V Bolgent professionally known as Mykebou is a sensational vocalist, a music producer, blogger and entrepreneur  who grew up with 100% love for music.

When asked, the young singer shared that he grew up listening to the likes of Kirk Franklyn, R Kelly, Brandy,  Mary-Mary, Usher, Whitney Houston, and recently SongwriterTC who added to his roster of inspirations, they all helped develop his ear for creating a well written song, first by learning to enhance his voice into different variations of tones and vibratos.

Mykebou debuted his first official single back to 2006 after which he released other hit songs like "Ur Man", "Christmas Time", "Happy People". In 2007, he released the inspirational song "They Need Help" and followed by the heartbreak inspired song "lovelorn".

Mykebou expressed that the way to fame seem narrow, but with his continued presence at church concerts and some local auditions like “I got the vibe”, “Vocals”. If you ask him about his feelings towards not being selected to compete at top industry auditions, he will openly tell you, 

I didn’t make it, It wasn’t my time!

 “l will just keep going because there is my time, when I would rock their stage and make the best of it”. 

In 2012, the young sensation released the "F" triplet singles "Funky Club", "Fancy Girls", and "Fire Burning". In 2014, Mykebou went back to the studio to record three more songs, which gave him more chances of hitting the new Nigerian music scene. he released "Beautiful" featuring his college frien Zoey, "Birthday" and ""

Mykebou is very new, innovative, and unique to the Nigerian music industry because of his camo-style, in addition to his outgoing, humble personality, crazy penmanship & melodic harmonies!
