NOTORIOUS CAR SNATCHER BURN TO DEATH IN ADAMAWA

Citizens have been advised to desist from the act of taking laws into their hands, otherwise known as jungle justice.
In a press release signed by the Police Public Relation Officer, Adamawa State Command SP Othman Abubakar and made available to Itrend Online said people now take laws into their own hands instead of reporting to any criminal offense to the police.
   SP Othman said that lynching a suspect is the same thing as murder, which is also a criminal offence. The release highlighted an incidence where a suspected notorious car snatcher was burned alive inside a car believed to have been stolen at Lafiya Lamurde. SP Othman the condemn the dastardly act, saying any criminal offense is suppose to be reported to the authorities for proper handling.
  He also said that the command will no longer tolerate such acts by any person or group of people.
  He finally stated the command's readiness to bring the perpetrators to book, describing the incident as barbaric and unacceptable
